Mission Statement
About us
We are the Springfield Red Sox. A non-profit organization founded in 2015. Our founder Adrian Monroe had a vision for the city of Springfield, to get as many children off the streets and play sports. Adrian saw a need within the city, crime rate was high, mostly involving young adolescents and he knew he had to do something about it. Adrian started the organization with only 1 team and we now have 8 teams with ages from 6yr-16yr.
Adrian's' vision came true in 2016 and this organization has helped over 500 kids stay off the streets and remain in school. We take pride in helping our local community and educating our young children about the dangers of being in the streets.
